In 1969 he traveled to Italy to study the renaissance style, where he spent several months there and later defected.

The artworks by Miklos L. Sebek are organic in form and inspired by nature. His source of inspiration comes from exploring the invisible worlds beneath the microscope, their order, structure and balance. The artist’s architectural studies have contributed a sense of space, formal and structural balance, to his works. A sense of rhythm and harmony with nature flow from each of his sculptures whether figurative or abstract.
In comparison to his style his medium is also diverse. He works with marble, bronze, stainless steel, wood and welded metal creating both large outdoor or smaller scale pieces. His bronze sculpture are cast at the art foundry but always hand-finished by him including the patina. Miklos feels that an artist has to be very versatile in this day and age.
His work has been exhibited at numerous, prestigious Museums and Art Expos and in several arts centers and galleries nation-wide. Miklos has received numerous "Best in Shows" and "First Prizes". Below is just a small sampling of his exhibitions:
His work can be found in museums, public places, corporate and private collections in the U.S.A., Hungary, Italy, Japan, Australia, Germany, Canada and England. His sculpture appears in various auction houses.
